Giving associates a paid volunteer time off benefit is easy—it’s helping associates actually use it that can be difficult. The following are some ideas to help get you started:

• Sign the electronic pledge form, including how many VTO hours your company will provide its associates.
• Form a volunteer committee
• Hold a volunteer fair
• Volunteer as a group
• Invite a non-profit to come and speak
• Share volunteerism success stories with others in your company
